Effect of electrode on the performance of Cd1−xZnxTe photodetector

Abstract: CdZnTe has a wide band gap and chemical stability, making it an ideal material for the preparation of UV (ultraviolet) photodetectors. Good contact between the electrode and CdZnTe plays a key role in the preparation of highly sensitive and stable UV detectors. In this work, a single electrode Au/CdZnTe/Au detector and a composite electrode Au/GaZnO(GZO)/CdZnTe/GZO/Au detector were prepared, and the effects of different electrodes on the performance of CdZnTe UV photodetectors were investigated.
