Abstract: In last few years, much research has been done on EPON bandwidth allocation. Bas ed on the special EPON system architecture and the weakness of some previous alg orithms, we propose a more expandable scheme that is associated with bandwidth e stimation. Simulation shows that the new technique can improve end-to-end delay and jitter performance.
