Abstract:
This paper presents a recursive method of reconstruction of 3D curved surface by using spatial curvature obtained from fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensors. A geometry model of solar array surface reconstruction is introduced. Expression of boundary constraints and equivalents of the surface’s middle curvature are presented. The geometry model of surface reconstruction is then translated into systems of nonlinear multivariable equations, and illustrated by numerical simulation. This provides a method for formation of the entire-surface.
Key words: surface reconstruction; systems of nonlinear multivariable equations; spatial curvature; fiber Bragg grating (FBG)
