Abstract:
In this paper, an improved range-ree localization algorithm in wireless sensor networks is proposed, termed the variable elasticity spring imitate location algorithm. The hops to anchor nodes and average distance for a hop can be determined in the primarystep in order to get node initial positions, and then refine the positions with an iterative procedure by adopting physics imitate. Simulation results show that the algorithm outperforms the DVHop algorithm in the same anchor fraction and average connectivity.
