Abstract: A design scheme and test results of an integrated low noise amplifier are described, which is designed for the primary stage of a GSM base station. Ma tched networks are designed using a microstrip structure. Circuit design and simulation are performed with Ansoft. The amplifier provides a gain of 16 dB and a noise figure below 0.4 dB in the frequency range of 880~915 MHz. Test results show that the circuit has met the specifications for practical applications.
