Design and Optimization of Waveguide Circular Polarizer Using 8 mm Adjustable Metal Screws

Abstract: Waveguide circular polarizer using adjustable metal screws is designed for a project that studies ellipsometry and its device at microwave frequencies. A new design method is used based on theoretical analysis. The optimal design is found via simulation with Ansoft HFSS, and samples are made. Measurements show good performance of the samples.
