Abstract:
A trijunctional spherical microphone array is designed to sample the sound field. A multiple sound sources localization algorithm is realized by planewave decomposition in the three-dimensional spaces with this array. Experimental results show that, using 98-element trijunctional spherical microphone array to locate multiple far-field sound sources can improve the accuracy and spatial resolution of the sound source localization. In addition, this method is robust to the environmental noise.
