Abstract:

The mesoporous molecular sieves MCM-41 and SBA-15 with spherical morphology were synthesized. The samples were characterized by XRD, N2 adsorptiondesorption analysis, SEM and TEM. The results show that the samples prepared in the research have the same typical parameters as those of the conventional hydrothermal method. The prepared MCM-41 and SBA-15 have the specific surface areas of 1 107 m2·g-1and 583 m2·g-1, respectively, the specific pore volumes of 0.69 cm3·g-1and 1.27 cm3·g-1 respectively, and the average pore diameters of 2.5 nm and 7.4 nm respectively. Both MCM-41 and SBA-15 prepared have good spherical morphology. The wet grinding process had little effect on the morphology of MCM-41, but great effect on the spherical morphology of SBA-15. The ordered internal pore channel structure could be observed only after wet grinding because of the larger particle size of  SBA-15.
