Abstract:

According to a mesh-free method based on total directional derivative, partial derivatives at all nodes and natural boundary conditions are constructed using the total directional derivative formula. Since no mesh/element is needed, it is simple both theoretically and computationally. The method is tested with a numerical example of compressible fluid flow. A reliable solution is obtained with high accuracy and efficiency.
