Abstract: In this paper a time-domain equalizer (TEQ) in an OFDM system is designed. With preamble sequences as the training sequences of TEQ, it is no longer necessary to use additional training sequences in the system. Therefore overhead of the system is reduced. Simulation results show that the performance of the TEQ is better than linear equalizer (LE) and decision feedback equalizer.
