Abstract: Recently, use of bilinear pairing such as Weil pairing or Tate pairing on elliptic and hyperelliptic curves in cryptography has attracted considerable attention. Several identity-based cryptosystems using bilinear pairings of elliptic or hyperelliptic curves have been presented. This paper proposes a new efficient identity-based blind signature scheme based on the bilinear pairings. The scheme uses identity-based public key instead of digital certification public key. It can omit the process of getting the public key from the system in verifying phase, improve efficiency of the system and reduce the storage space, and also analyze its security and efficiency.
