Convergence of End-to-End Rate-Based I-D Congestion Control Algorithm

Abstract: Efficiency and fairness convergence of endtoend ratebased IncreaseDecrease (ID) congestion control algorithms are studied. Convergence time of different congestion control algorithms is computed. Some effective formulae are developed. The analysis results obtained can provide a guideline for design of the congestion control protocol.
