Abstract:

Scale on the surface of iron in incinerated municipal solid waste scrap as raw materials was purified by roast magnetic beneficiation to produce iron oxide up to industry standard. The effects of reduction roasting, magnetic field strength, particle size and other test conditions on magnetic beneficiation were researched. The results show that magnetite powder with TFe content of 67.61% and 85.17% iron recovery can be obtained by secondary magnetic separation under the conditions of reduction temperature of 750 ℃, reduction time of 60 min, charcoal ratio of 7% and magnetic field strength of 0.10 and 0.08 T, respectively.
