Analysis and Application of Thermal Lattice Boltzmann Method

Abstract: Lattice Boltzmann method (LBM) is a mesoscale computational method based on the gas kinetic theory. For solving Fourier-Navier-Stokes equations, the thermal lattice model has attracted much research attention. This paper compares several thermal lattice models in terms of accuracy, stability and computational efficiency. The thermal flow in pore-scale porous is also studied using different thermal lattice models.
