Abstract: This paper studies numerical simulation of the average windload pressure coefficient of super high-rise building cladding using the software Fluent. As compared to the wind tunnel test, the simulation method has the advantages of low cost, short test cycle and flexibility in choosing survey points. The simulation technique is becoming perfect and applied to actual construction fields. This paper discusses how the Reynolds stress equation model is used in the simulation and considers key elements including control equation, calculation matrix, boundary condition, etc. The simulation result is compared with wind-tunnel tests. Feasibility and usefulness of the simulation method is validated.
