摘要: 提出一种新的虹膜定位算法.首先根据虹膜图像的灰度分布特征进行粗定位,用阈值分割和二值图像形态学的方法提取瞳孔的圆心和半径,然后用边缘检测的方法提取虹膜的外边缘,最后用圆梯度灰度检测算子进行小范围的精确定位.实验结果表明,该算法提高了虹膜定位的速度,减少了传统虹膜定位算法中搜索的盲目性.

Abstract: A new method for locating iris is proposed. The iris image is first segmented with a threshold. A morphological method for binary images is used to extract the center of pupil and estimate its radius. An edge detector is used to extract the exterior edges of iris. The interior and exterior radii are detected accurately by using a circular template in a reduced candidate area. Experimental results show that the method can speed the iris locating process and reduce blindness existing in previous search algorithms.
