Controlling Ankle Movement in Neuro-rehabilitation Using Selective Surface Electromyography Signals

摘要:

研究了利用表面肌电信号来实时控制踝关节康复装置的运动.采集人体踝关节在一个自由度上做屈伸运动时的胫骨前肌和腓肠肌的表面肌电(sEMG)信号,对sEMG信号进行处理和特征提取.并以sEMG信号为控制系统的主要信息源,研究了基于表面肌电信号的踝关节运动装置控制原理和实现方法.通过模拟试验,验证了sEMG信号的统计特性及控制机构的可行性.

Abstract:

The objective of this study is to control a device in realtime using surface electromyography (sEMG). The sEMG is collected from muscles of tibialis anterior and gastrocnemius medium of healthy subjects by moving flexionextension of their ankle. The raw sEMG signals are processed, and their characteristic defined. Using the sEMG signals as a guide, the control theory is tested, showing feasibility of controlling ankle with sEMG signals.
