摘要: 提出采用干涉的方法测量几种不同扭转圈数的扭转光纤环的Verdet系数.其结果与已知的直退火光纤在1.322 μm波长和直扭转光纤在0.633 μm波长下采用测量偏转角Δθ方法测得的结果基本一致.实验数据采用目前研制光纤电流传感器最常用的Sagnac干涉方法,并在最常用的1.31 μm波长光源下得到,因此对进一步研究扭转光纤环电流传感器具有实用价值.

Abstract: The Verdet coefficient of fiber rings with different twisted turns has been measured with an interference method. The results basically agree with the reported values measured under 1.322 μm wavelength in a vertical annealed fiber and under 0.633 μm in vertical twisted fiber by measuring the deflection angles Δθ. The Sagnac interference method and a 1.31 μm light source, generally used in fiber-optics current sensor (FOCS), are used to measure the Verdet values. The measured results are useful in the research of FOCS.
