Stress Relaxation in Prepreg Composites Due to Z-pinning

摘要: Z-pinning增强工艺中pin针的嵌入迫使原来均匀分布的面内纤维发生局部变形,造成纤维弯曲、分布非均匀以及树脂富集区的形成,同时基于半固化环氧树脂的流变特性,面内纤维的轴向应力随着时间发生了较大变化.通过建立二维有限元模型,研究pin针植入预成形件后的面内局部纤维应力分布的规律以及应力松弛的现象.研究结果可以为z-pinned 复合材料固化过程的进一步研究提供依据.

Abstract: The microstructure of laminates is changed by z-pinning. In order to understand the fiber stress distribution in prepreg composites with insertion of z-pins, finite element analyses are conducted based upon the micromechanics model. The uncured resin matrix is modeled by viscoleastic constitutive equations. The fiber stress relaxation behavior with time is revealed.
