Abstract: The traditional predictive functional control usually uses first-order predictive model, which does not fully express the plant, therefore is not robust. The characteristic model is simpler than dynamics model and can fully express the plant. Aimed at predictive functional control, this paper uses a second order characteristic model for predictive model that is easily achieved by project ion method. Theoretical analysis and experiments show that the new control strategy can provide better results compared with the traditional predictive functional control. The control strategy can be directly applied to the SUPCON-JX300X system.
