Abstract:
A carrier phase recovery scheme suited for turbocoded systems with pilot symbol assisted modulation (PSAM) in Rayleigh fading channels is proposed in this paper. This scheme involves Rayleigh fading channel estimation with PSAM and utilizes the joint phase recovery and turbodecoder to aid the iterative carrier phase estimation. Simulation results show that the proposed method with small system expense can significantly improve the performance of carrier phase recovery for turbo-coded systems in Rayleigh fading channels.
