Abstract: The model of modernity is divided into the unified one and the multi one. The former emphasizes the uniqueness of west model, and the latter attempts to find a way outside the West. The paper approves the unified model of modernity because the true validity of modernity is determined by the logic power of capital, not by cultural concepts. The more effective the capital logic is, the more dangerous the world prospect is. Rethinking the capital logic is the key to deal with modernity in China and the world.
