经过严格的评审程序，《中国运筹学会会刊》于2016年10月14日上午在云南省昆明市云安会都中国运筹学会第十次全国会员代表大会开幕式上颁发了首届优秀论文奖。共有3篇论文5位作者获得了该奖项，具体名单如下：Theory of compressive sensing via l1-mimimization: a non-RIP analysis and extensions（作者：张寅, 美国Rice大学），Optimal control of nonlinear switched systems: computational methods and applications（作者: 林群、Ryan Loxton、Kok Lay Teo，澳大利亚Curtin大学），Alternating direction method of multipliers for sparse principal component analysis（作者：马士谦，中国香港中文大学）。
中国科协副主席袁亚湘主编亲自为获奖代表颁发奖牌，并致以热烈的祝贺。
